Cottage Pinks Dianthus Sugar Raspberry – Hardy Summer Flowering Perennial

Dianthus 'Sugar Raspberry' is a charming cottage pinks variety bred for reliable garden performance. Producing an abundance of deeply-hued raspberry-pink flowers with a delicately fringed edge and a wonderfully sweet, clove-like fragrance, this compact perennial brings both colour and scent to beds, borders, rockeries and containers throughout the summer months. The neat, mound-forming habit and attractive silvery blue-green evergreen foliage ensure year-round interest, even when not in flower.

A truly hardy perennial, Dianthus 'Sugar Raspberry' thrives in a sunny, well-drained position and is perfectly at home in cottage-style gardens, gravel gardens and patio containers. The fragrant blooms are excellent for cutting and are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Deadheading spent flowers regularly will encourage a prolonged display well into late summer.
