Set of 3 or 6 Primrose Queen Lilac Picotee Plants, Hardy Perennial, Spring & Autumn Flowering, Outdoor Garden Ready, 1 Litre Root-Ball

£20.99

PACK OF:

Bring a delicate charm to your garden with the Primrose Queen Lilac Picotee. Part of the popular Primula 'Queen' series, this variety produces an abundance of soft lilac blooms, each petal beautifully edged with a deeper lilac-purple picotee margin that adds elegance and depth. Flowering prolifically in both spring and autumn, these compact, rosette-forming perennials are ideal for brightening up borders, containers, and woodland-style plantings during the cooler months of the year.

This hardy herbaceous perennial is well suited to the UK climate and will return year after year with minimal fuss. The neat, low-growing habit makes it a versatile choice for the front of borders, underplanting beneath shrubs and trees, or adding seasonal colour to patio containers and window boxes. The flowers are a welcome early source of nectar for bees and other pollinators emerging in spring.

What's Included

You will receive 3 or 6 established Primrose Queen Lilac Picotee plants, each supplied in a 1 litre root-ball, ready for planting out or potting on.

Planting Tips

Plant in moisture-retentive but well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. A position in partial shade is ideal, though these primroses will also tolerate full sun provided the soil does not dry out. Space plants approximately 20–25 cm apart. Water regularly during dry spells, particularly in spring and autumn when the plants are actively flowering. Remove spent flower heads to encourage further blooms throughout the season.
