Superior Seedless White Grape Vine

Grow your own delicious grapes at home with this Superior Seedless White grape vine. A hardy and vigorous variety, this fruiting vine produces sweet, seedless white dessert grapes that are perfect for eating fresh straight from the vine. Ideal for beginners and experienced gardeners alike, this grape vine is well suited to the UK climate and makes a wonderful addition to any garden, patio, or conservatory.

Best planted against a south-facing wall or fence, or trained along a trellis, pergola, or arbour, this climbing vine thrives in a warm, sunny, and sheltered position in well-drained soil. It can also be grown successfully in a large container on a patio or balcony, making it a versatile choice for smaller spaces.

Growing Tips

  • Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot in well-drained soil for the best fruit production.

  • Water regularly during the growing season, especially in hot, dry weather.

  • Prune back in late winter (December to February) while the vine is dormant, cutting back the previous year's growth to one or two buds to encourage strong new fruiting shoots.

  • Feed with a general-purpose fertiliser in spring and a high-potash feed once fruits begin to form.

  • Train new growth along supports during the summer months and remove any overcrowded or weak stems.

  • Thin grape bunches if needed to allow remaining fruits to develop fully and ripen evenly.
