Set of 3 or 6 Nepeta Faassenii Catmint Plants, Hardy Perennial, Bee Friendly Blue Flowering Plants, Outdoor Garden Ready, 1 Litre Root-Ball
£20.99
Unit price / perEstimated delivery between June 15 and June 17.
Nepeta × faassenii, commonly known as Catmint or Faassen's Catmint, is a wonderfully reliable hardy perennial prized for its long season of soft, lavender-blue flower spikes and aromatic grey-green foliage. A recipient of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, this classic cottage-garden plant produces masses of delicate blooms from late spring right through to early autumn, providing months of colour and interest in the garden.
This set of three established plants is ideal for creating a stunning drift of colour along a border edge, pathway or raised bed. Catmint is exceptionally easy to grow and thrives in a range of conditions, making it a superb choice for both beginner and experienced gardeners alike. Once established, it is notably drought-tolerant and performs well even in poor, dry soils where many other perennials may struggle.
The softly textured, aromatic foliage is naturally resistant to deer and rabbits, while the nectar-rich flowers are a magnet for bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects throughout the flowering season. A light trim after the first flush of flowers will encourage a fresh wave of blooms well into autumn.
